1.       Attention Graduating Grade 12s or new semester 2 students, if you need your picture taken, please come down to the main office and sign up.  The pictures are being taken on February 25, 2019.

2.       The Gaming club will be meeting on Wednesday after school in 202. We are also expanding to include console games as well. All new members are welcome. 

3.       Attention members of the senior girls’ volleyball team.  There will be a brief but mandatory meeting today at the beginning of lunch in room 231 with Mr. Wilson to discuss tonight’s playoff game.  Again, senior girls’ volleyball meeting today at the beginning of lunch in room 231.  If for some reason you cannot make the playoff game, please tell Mr. Wilson before the meeting at lunch. Good luck tonight ladies!

4.       Good morning photography club.  A reminder we meet tomorrow at 11:00 in room 133.  See you then!

5.       There is a jazz band rehearsal today in the music room!  See you all there.

6.       Beep boop….computers!  Any students interesting in participating in this year’s Canadian Computing Contest, please see Mr. Belton in room 224 at lunch today. If you can’t make it…uh oh! This is the last day to sign up, so please make sure you see Mr. Belton at some point today!

7.       This announcement is for the skiers and snowboarders that are scheduled to go to Horseshoe Valley tomorrow night after school. There is a bad winter storm predicted for our area Tuesday.    If the buses are cancelled, the trip will definitely be cancelled.  If the buses are running and the storm is getting worse by the end of day Tuesday, the trip will be cancelled as well.  Listen to the announcements for information about the trip and re-scheduling.  Ski team is reminded of the GB race Thursday. We are meeting at the school for 6:30 am. 

8.       Attention students who are writing this year’s literacy test:  The TIPS program helps prepare students for the literacy test with lots of practice and helpful pointers! We are starting the program soon.  Pick up a form in room 112 today.

9.       Green Team will meet tomorrow at the start of lunch in room 125.  Bring your lunch and help plan events and activities, as well as start on our plastic turtle display.  New members welcome!

10.   Hey Bucs! Today is the first day of our week of love and student council will be selling roses and crushes today and tomorrow. These will be delivered to classes on Thursday which is Valentine’s Day. The crush sodas will be $1 per can and roses will be $3 for 1 rose or $5 for 2 roses. So buy a rose or can of pop for a friend or special someone and come to the foyer to buy yours today!
