The professional speaker, Steve Levine, will be here giving the award-winning presentation Funny Money to GRADE 12 Classes. This assembly has been presented across the nation and has received excellent reviews. Grade 12 students are reminded to attend your period 2 class for attendance. When called, please attend the assembly with your class and teacher, and sit in the assigned seating area for your class.

4. All students writing the Avogadro chemistry exam, please meet in room 117 at the beginning of period 1.

5. Attention all Staff and Students, please come to the Greenhouse after school for the plant sale.

Announcements for May 14, 2018http://bdh.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/597Announcements for May 14, 2018
1. Teachers, please dismiss the sr girls soccer team at 2 pm for their game today.
2. Merry Monday BUCS! Last Friday, student council hosted our first ever Colour Run, as the finale for Canadian Mental Health Awareness Week. Even though it was very messy and a lot of work to put together, seeing everyone's active and enthusiastic participation was definitely worth it. We full heartedly believe that it is up to you to decide the type of environment you want to spend 6 hours a day in, whether it be spirited or apathetic. By choosing to risk clogged pores and stained armpits for the sake of student engagement, we as a school are showing our commitment to altruism and well-being. The educational institution that we wish to see in the upcoming year not only teaches the interpretations of literary devices, but the fundamental principles of being an active member of the community. Last Friday's Colour Run was only the catalyst in a movement to bring positivity and spirit to the halls of BDHS—a beginning that would be impossible without your trust and support but most importantly—a willingness to inhale some cornstarch. Thank you.
3. If you have an application for Co-op at Southlake Hospital, today is the very last day you need to get your full application forms into the Co-op office! Don't miss out on this terrific opportunity! See you soon in the Co-op office!

4. Congratulations to Andrew Gwilliams who came in 2nd place out of 55 golfers last Thursday at Bear Creek to qualify for the SCAA championship golf tournament that will be held on June 3rd. Andrew shot a 76 and was 6 strokes ahead of the 3rd place competitor. Great job.
5. Today is the last day to get a polaroid of yourself for just $1 and donate to the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention.
