Goal Setting and Offensive playbook in the small gym.</li><li>Senior Boys soccer players. To go to the tournament tomorrow, you must have your forms and fees in. They can be dropped off at the start of lunch in room 224 or at the practice today after school.</li><li>Room 232 is the place to be on Friday at lunch for the "A-P-B-P".  "What is it, you ask?"  Come out and find out.  If inquiring minds would like to know, room 226 or 107 are the places to go! Ask for A-P, Pernar or Brownlee.  All are welcome, we believe in equity.  </li><li>This Friday, September 22nd is Orange Shirt Day, a day to recognize that "Every Child Matters" The Orange Shirt Campaign helps us remember the experiences of former students of residential schools.  It is a commitment to ongoing reconciliation in Canada. Orange Shirt Day was created in 2013 during the St. Joseph Mission Residential School Commemoration Project in Williams Lake, BC.   Please plan to wear an orange shirt this Friday.</li><li><span style="text-decoration:underline;">ATTENTION GRADUATING STUDENTS!!!!!</span><span style="text-decoration:underline;">  </span>Are you planning to attend university in 2018?  If so, you should know that the Loran Scholars Foundation will be awarding 34 scholarships each valued at $100,000 over 4 years of undergraduate studies.  In order to qualify for this scholarship, you MUST have a minimum average of 85% and demonstrate leadership, integrity, grit, compassion and dedication to serving others.  For more information about the application process, please see Ms. Evans in Guidance or the scholarship board outside of the Guidance Office.</li><li><span style="text-decoration:underline;">ATTENTION GRADE 9's WHO COMPLETED ANY PORTION OF THEIR 40 VOLUNTEER HOURS OVER THE SUMMER!!!!!</span><span style="text-decoration:underline;">  </span>You must submit your completed hours to the Guidance Office NO LATER than THIS THURSDAY in order to receive an invitation to the FREE breakfast put on by the Hospitality class on Friday, September 29th during period 2.  Don't miss out!!!!!  Get those hours in NOW!</li><li>Attention all junior girl's basketball players. September 15th Announcementshttp://bdh.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/460September 15th Announcements<p>​</p><ol><li>Do you still need volunteer hours?  This weekend the town of Bradford is desperately looking for volunteers to help with the town's Terry Fox Run.  This Sunday morning go to the town library at 8 am and volunteer.  You can cheer on runners, set up tables, give out water... there are lots of jobs.  You'll earn volunteer hours for the whole day.</li><li>Senior boys soccer players...you must have all forms and team fees in to Mr. Belton to play in Tuesday's tournament.  If you have not picked up your forms, pick them up in room 224 at the start of lunch.  Also...practice on Monday after school. Optional weight room orientation at lunch. The Terry Fox Run will be held on the 28th during third period on the back field, there will be activities such as splatoon, tug of war, 3 legged race and a free barbeque! Donations of 10 dollars or more is all it takes to participate. That's not all! The person who donates the most amount of money will win a special prize. </li><li>There will be a Future Aces Meeting today at lunch in room 274. Do you plan on playing sports?  If so, you are considered a "transfer student" and need to submit a transfer form and get it approved in order to play sports this year.  So if you are new to the school and in grade 10, 11, or 12 and intend to play sports, please see Mr. Wilson in room 231 or Mrs. Carson in room 173 at some point to get your transfer forms.  The quicker you hand-in, the sooner you can start to win.</li><li>There will be junior boys AND senior boys soccer tryouts after school today and Tuesday at 2:40 sharp. Juniors will be on the front field. Seniors will be on the back field. See you there!</li></ol>
